Someone showed me this in maya and asked if lightwave could do the same thing...

The particles are following the surface details exactly! :)

I agree...the paint needs to have some resistence of wanting to come off. Like... "No, No I don't wanna go ...You can't make me..

Whats happening is that the particles are being spawned ONLY where the surface is red. As the red dissolves or peels off the particles do too.

Hmmm, I've just downloaded it, and well... either i've missed something, or its not all that impressive. Throw me a bone here.

I don't think He was trying to impress you. He's just giving you a simple example of what can be done using LW.

Of course it's up to you to take the example and expand on it using your own creativity and ingenuity!
