View Full Version : Superbowl trophy
paininbutnewbie 11-14-2002, 01:18 AM I was hoping for some guidance on creating this object. Just a place to start. I've tried to create the base with lines, but it was awful. Really. I just need to know what is the best method and then I'll hit the books.
Thank you

I'd use a loft, make a cross section (like the silhouette if you were looking down on the object). Either create a line shape in Max or use a vector editing proggie like illustrator.
Then create a vertical line to define the height of your base. Then create a loft from the two objects. Use the deformations in the loft rollout to scale the width, or add further crossections.
I've attached a crossection you can import to show you what I mean.
