View Full Version : Astra VXR BTCC
UnsteadyTeddy 10-16-2005, 12:03 AM Been working on this a lot the last few days. Still got some tweaks to make and with a lot of polies to play with I will consider adding boot pins, the front grill and also modelling the rims.
Tell me what you think, thanks. :)

the mesh is kinda "bumpy" writh veticses flying aroundhere and there... maybe start softening and smoothing those out and get that nice clean type of feeling.
good start and i think itīll turn out nicely!

Excellent!! Beautiful model. Can't wait for the texturing.
Are you going to texture it like "new" or "used and gritty"?

Woyman: I got a picture below of the real car. I'm going to texture it as close to this as possible. I'm hoping it will look good all liveried up like that!

Excellent job.
Edit: Good luck on that texturing. I'm sure you won't have any problems. :applause:

Ok, so I rounded out the back a bit more, fixed up the mesh a bit, added more detail and a basic interior. Now weighs in at 4963 tris.

Car is almost complete. Need to rework the lights. Rear ones are just nasty. Oh, and wheel sidewalls are too big.

Awsome looking stuff.
But the sides of the wing seems to be upside down. Maybe it's just me.
