View Full Version : FXWars! "Dracula's Castle" : Team PXC - HYBRID

partially a re-incarnation of Team Rio from the "Big Freeze" challenge we have a couple of new members for this one.
Team-Members (in no particular order):
Wm. D. Alexander
Andy S. Blondin
Special thanks to Debra Ross & DAZ
In a dark forrest, a mystical looking castle towers at the edge of a dauntig cliff. a narrow bridge leads up to it's large entrance. For two strangers, the castle seems to be the only place to stay for the night and seek refuge from an approaching thunderstorm ... if they only knew what they are getting themself into.

ok, we've been quiet the last couple of days, while we figured out the detailed story, set up our project management and asset list.
the leads for the different major assets (landscape, bridge, castle, style) started producing concept drawing and prototypes while other team members started working on detail assets.
here are a couple of images showing the work:
bridge model : Valerio Landa
landscape and master scene setup : Michael Rottke
castle concept drawing : Wm Alexander
gargoyle model : Andy S. Blondin (based on concept drawings by Cris Palomino)
all models are work-in-progress ... more stuff to come soon !

ok, we've been quiet for a couple of days. Our team-members are busy at work creating all the different assets that we will need for our submission. Here a couple of tests we did over the last couple of days to streamline the pipeline and investigate different technical approaches.

Working our little bones to death...a feat I am sure Mssr. Dracula would be proud of...so long as blood was involved as well. ;)
We miss you, Patrick.

I'm always a mouse click away on AIM/Ichat Cris. You seem to be sleeping when ever I'm online anymore though. ;)
