Less than 2.4 GHz, but because the Athlon's perform better (especially in floating point performance) at the same clock frequency as P4s, they give it a performance designation that says "it performs at the same level or better than a 2.4GHz system."

For example, the Athlon 2200 performs better than most 2.2 GHz P4s, but is actually running at a lower frequency.

Clock frequency isn't everything. For us 3d folks, floating performance is probably most important.

the 2400+ will run at true 2.0 gigz
but yes, itll run just as good/better then the p4 2.4
