This an image that I did with mostly with Painter. I wanted to improve myself with this software and also apply to the Painter contest with Ballistic Publishing.
This image represent someone that I know very well in the middle of a big sci-fi war. I wanted to give an heroic style. Something with bravery, courage, confidence.

good work. i like the colors uve used here. background handling is really good.

...Sorry about the small the thumbnail of the face. I just noticed that you can't see the full screen version. It's suppose to be a 1000 pixels image. Maybe I did a mistake when I wrote this thread. I don't understand.

I like this a lot, just a couple questions.
Why the long support shafts on the gun structure, and how do they add to the stability?
What's that tank on her back?
