even worse then messiah. im trying to get point oven to work and there is NOTHING as far as help or instructions. they are actually selling this???

nevermind, i foudn that the first version includes help just not version 1.3. go figure.

now i need to figure out how to make the demo work....

Hi,

There isn't a demo, sorry. The docs can be found in the version 1.3, 1.4b and 1.4c links on the website. Only 1.3B does not have docs as this is just a patch.

hmm well i tried 1.3b didnt realise it was a patch.

I think having a demo would be useful to make sure it works in studio pipelines, i am currently looking into it for ours.

maybe instead of bashing a plug-in on a public forum, try e-mailing the creator of the plug-in privately.

I've e-mailed mark before and he was very generous in helping out.
next time try more discrete ways of stating your problems, before blurting out "they're actually selling this??"

You know Stoochy, you do have a rather irritatating, negative, abrasive, acidic tone to alot of your messages. You might like to call it "just saying it as it is", well how about balancing it up with some positive comments as well.
Sometimes it's a little of "shoot off your mouth first, wipe egg off your face later."

how about this, hey this great program point oven, seems to have misplaced its documentation in version 13b. jeez id like to try this out for my gosh golly darn studio and you know hwat, there is no demo! aw shucks.

here is a tip. dont guess my tone by using text. Especially when english is not my first language.

"???" is pretty universal and means your emphasizing the question or stressing the point. Poor english just means grammar errors... but saying "wow, talk about horrible docs" and "are they actually selling this???" are not grammar errors.

It's like me saying "you actually sell your work??? wow talk about horrible techniques". Not too hard to figure out I'm not being polite ;)

It's obvious you were frustrated, which is normal, but try to calm down a bit.

no actually i wasnt frustrated at all and in a cheery mood. obviously you assumed i was being negative. more importantly, your oppinion is really unnecessary here since ive talked to the creator of the program, there was no conflict and my question was answered, now you are turning it into something more then it was.

if you really have a problem, pm me.

oh and by the way, i ended up using the messiah bake feature on the meshes and it seemed to have worked acceptably for SBD.

What makes you think I have a problem with you? I was actually complimenting you. Actually I didn't think you were negative at all.
