View Full Version : cam/piston animation?

any suggestions on a cam and piston animation? My problem is when i link everything to the piston, and move the piston up and down, everything moves up and down. And when I link everything to the cam shaft, and rotate the cam shaft, everything gets swung around the cam's axis. I've tried using constraints on different parts, but nothing seems to help. Any suggestions? I'm using Electric Image Universe for this, but I could probably do it in Maya as well.
