Just watched your film very cool, and not badly done from a point of view...my only critique, would be 1. the wolf looks good my only critique i thought on him is with the animation i would of like to see more of animal characteristic...like sniffing in the air to find the girl and walking on all fours for some part....
My other critique would be with the girl..I didnt like the bottom half of the dress now i know you were going for period time which is cool but it made it hard to see her animation and movement in the dress ....dont get me wrong the dress is tight anyways but there could off been more hip and shoulder movement then you wouldnt care about the dress much... other then that i thought it was very cool and well done with the werewolf morph, the period back ground clothes...all those extras and overall look was great . And i loved the film pop at the beginning then it straightened out was so cool along with the tonel of it....very cool.. but those are just my thoughts not yours so take care and i look forward to your next one!!!!

thank you guys for the comments,
yeah...her dress was a big pain in the #$@...I was going to use cloth but the simulation was taking way too long in the slow computers we had at school.

Very nice work, I liked most of the models (specially the wolf), and the lighting and sets are all very well taken care of.
There are some minor continuity and axis problems, but nothing that distracts from the flow of the story. All the cinematography is ok.
However I think there are serious problems with the character animation. There is hardly any anticipation to even the most intense movements (like when the werewolf attacks the lady, he moves straight forward from the hold). Same goes for overshooting, second motion and arcs.
My most sincere congratulations for having completed such an ambitious project, my only advise is that in your next project you check every sequence of character animation to see if it complies with the twelve principles of animation (here is a link to a site that lists them: http://www.hwcn.org/~ab323/als/animating/12princ.htm)
Congrats again.

that was good, but the animation could use some work.
I know that the dress must have been hard to do, and it shows...it didn't work all that nicely.
Also, would somebody that has this huge creature bearing down on them really just increase her speed to a slightly faster walk?
I like the twist at the end.

very impressive!! however the dress was shiny, why was it shiny? and the people movement seemed a little stiff to me.
why does he have a scar? and what's up with her movements before she gets attached, does she have ESP and know he's coming for her? again, very impressive: how long did it take to do?

Thanks for the comments guys, i really appreciate it.
Ok, I have to admit, my animation skills have to be improved a lot, but since this was a solo project I had to take care of that too :annoyed:
About the girl's dress, it was intended to look like satin/silk, thats why its shiny, it looks a little better full resolution.
The wolf has scars because he just turned from a human to a big beast, so the skin stretched and he got some fresh scars from that.
The whole project took me 6 months to do (From storyboards to compositing)

Good show, dude ! Definitely having potential ! 6 months is quite some time to put into an animation, but your work is good. Now that we've seen the vid, i'd like to point out some things that you should give more attention to next time.
>>>> The initial zoom into the room was very cool. Ur prop modeling is good !
>>>> when the character picks the bullets of the gun, his thumb n fingers should clasp the bullet. out here, it appeared very stiff.
>>>> The cafe shot with the record playing was cool too.
>>>> so is your morphing of the werewolf, not to mention the lady's T's ...lol.
>>>> but when the wolf is walking behind the lady and he closes in, she abruptly happens to stop at this pole, which was pretty far away at the previous shot... so you should mind that part.
overall, this is a cool video. all the best !!! i look forward to seeing greater works from you in future !!

I would just like to say I think you've really put a good little story together. Most impressive was your camera work, exceptional! and probably my favorite part of this piece. Your modeling skills were also exceptional, and I applaud you on your choice of time periods, always makes things slightly more interesting (and unique). Your use of lighting added to your story nicely, and really added to the overall mood. One thing I notice (can't be too nice here) :) was the glossy level of the woman's dress, looked a tad out of place. My suggestions for you next piece is to work on your character animation a tad more, and give your characters a tad more expression (she didn't look scared enough to me). Overall I am impressed with the piece, and enjoyed the subtle details of your modeling. Nice ending too! :applause:
woo. hoo. oh how I loved this work. I can understand where if your the one person doing all of this. then some things might become little weak. When the man turns into a werewolf. I think his darn hat should have cam off earlier. :applause:
Congrats on finishing and nice work that it is.
I enjoyed it. :) Some of the fog seemed like it was just thrown on top and not rendered with the scene. (which makes it seems like its just on top of everything)
Also, the walking of the werewolf seems a bit off. I can't scrub thru it so I can't pinpoint it better. (Sorry.)
Good job though.
