Very nice modeling!

but eyes are not like on the sketch! And it's better!
Eyes on the sketch are too much feminine for a man face...(because of your Manga-style maybe.)

but your 3D model is really great! ;)

ChrRambow
11-14-2002, 04:53 PM
Thank you guys ... great that you like this style :bounce:
i've not expected so much comments :)

Totitch: the same i thought while modelig so i changed them slightly. I've slightly tried to recreate the style of the dreamworks cartoons.

Now here is a guick attempt on jacket. I do not got much experience in modeling clothes. Thats my favourite jacket

it's looking great, especially the head. Now add some creases to that jacket! :)

ChrRambow
11-14-2002, 07:37 PM
Now created some detail on the jacket.
The next step would be cleaning the mesh of the jacket, adding more details and creating hair. But now a break

Joril: creating folds is hard ... i have to learn more related to that after this challenge :) do you know tips or tutorials about that?

sad
11-20-2002, 01:10 AM
i'm so curious to see your finished work! definately top notch!

maybe you could bow his knees to give some dynamic feeling into the pose! your new sketch rminds me of my room...chaotic situation.

Hmm, some tips then. The way I do folds is simply cutting some edges (mind the quads) on the cloth and drag the verts over the edges - much like a real fold.
You also need to add enough geomitry to define the fold, otherwise you get this melted fold-thing...
This may sound a little blurry the reason is that I've been awake for 21 hours, I'm going to bed...
Have fun!

Nice work dude, the only thing that bothers me, but in a way it doesn't, is the desk behind you (him)...it looks a little bit to big for him, sort of...i mean, there are big desks, but the way i see it, this is a propotion problem...BUT, the more I look at it, it looks better and better...just me though :applause:

great but i hope the chaos will grow! maybe some underpants hanging at the ceiling-vent.

the cord on which the alarmclock is fixed should be way thinner.

Hi KoRn!

This is great! I like it a lot

The only thing I don't like is the keyboard in the smashed screen. It doesn't convince me...

Your model seems indifferent about the untidy room. I would pose him in a more agressive way, more "metal-gods-istic" xDDDD but it's a good pose, man, and a very good model. Love the style a lot.
