I was browsing for the first time the 2d forum and I had the idea to try posting three of my photoshop painted images.

Any comments?

Perhaps you should comment a bit on what you were aiming for in each image?

I found the first one to be a bit confusing, with the blurring in his belly and the "base". The shading on the face seems good, but the rest of the image confuses me.

The 2nd image is more interesting, I like the character and the style you used, with the double lines and the coloring, but the face could use a little more "depth".

I really like the third one, your style really works here. If there's anything to criticize is that you cut off the arm, so it takes a minute to realize the old guy is leaning on a fence or something.

Hey Pedro, thanx for taking time to comments my images...

So lemme take time to comment what I was aiming for my images ;)

Hummm Shade1.jpg, the first one, was simply a shading test I decided to try after I watched a really cool movie tutorial uner photoshop by Bobo the seal...

The weird look it has come from a part of the contrasted colors I used and the way I tried to apply the left arm and stick shadows on his body...

The second one (the Monster) was a monster I wanted to look funny and primitive...I really agree with you concerning the head...Definitively, It need better attention on the shading ;)

About the Oldman, I just decided to cut the hand because I got problems to draw human hands...The position is only the result of luck...When I started this draw I never knew what it would look like until finished ;)

I'm so beginner that my style is changing from a draw to the next one....I think I'll need more and more practice to get a well define style
