Nice work. I like the face in all of the shots. Nice to see someone else doing things a little more cartoony. The body is a little more unclear in this view... It's hard to tell what parts are limbs, what are arms and tail and legs... maybe if he had a bit more meat on his bones, a thicker mid-section, more load-bearing wings... anyhow, just an idea... Either way, should be a lot of fun. Good luck with it!

This is cool. These colors are great!!. I only comment is if the Dragon is suppost to be drunk then it's hard to tell. Maybe if his eyes looked drowsy? Someting where one eye is almost shut and the other looks drowsy but he's trying really hard to open it like his eye brow is up but his eye lid is limp?

On this concept picture you showed verygood the speed in the scene. It feels like the camera is moving backwards and the horse close to the viewer make the picture more dramatic I think. Maybe you can use that in the new version too? Just an idea.

I've already said I love your colors,the wide angled perspectives, the backlighting and the expressions of the characters...

Although I do like your last cropped comp, I kinda like the sky and bg in the previous post:http://features.cgsociety.org/challenge/spectacular/image.php?entry_id=52605
I gived the comp some "air" to breathe, and added to the wide angle scale of the enviroment.

The animal characters are nice, dont change the dragon, the right sqirrel on the horse needs some work.

This is really nice, the colors and composition works great!
One thing though... The hamsters hanging on to the dragon appears to be very large compares to the rider. If you intended the hamsters to be mansize, you need to make the closest hamsters much larger than now.

Funny, all the creatures are characterized, lovely lighting/colouring,composition, perspectives and landscapes....

The foreground grass may need a touch or two, and leave the castles alone, there in the background, and are just fine.

I am here because I have not time to write a proper story about my work in contest time...
and I have added several moments to it.....
sorry for my english, but I hope you will not kick me strongly for it :rolleyes:

On searches of the gone dragon by name "Zigfried", left the king of hamsters "Sigismund fourth"
the leader of the order of iridescent hamster (this the ancient cult of the hamster- fanatics considering itself the true soldiers of light):buttrock:
After taking with itself the most loyal soldiers: daring Samurai "Hairy ear"
the powerful soldier "BIGtooth", fearless and courageous kamikadze "Hamsterfly" 8) even one large "squirrel the horseman"
they left in the way!
By the rumors reached from the adjacent kingdom, dragon was noted next to the castle
located in the possession of Sigismund's old friend - lord "Gopher"!
At that time the lord Gopher was in the military march, and using this, dragon Zigfried after breaking one of the towers of the castle
reached the wine cellar and randomly trampled the granary....
As you already know, granary for the hamsters is this sacred thing almost the same as statue of the godly iridescent rodent :)
After this news our courageous heroes began crazy furious:twisted:
But to capture dragon, it is sufficiently difficult....
therefore after developing artful plan... they got to work
