Hi, I'm compiling an Encyclopedia of sorts for my site... thought i might drop some progress shots of what's going on with it... mostly characters and stuff like that at the moment.

Katya
Mortaliy: Mortal
The charming protagonist of A Tale in Red. Katya went on a dangerous journey to aid her ill grandmother, Zhena.
Naively optimistic and passionately headstrong, Katya faces many challenges on her journey, but with steadfast will, sharp wit, and a little help from her friends, she believes she can overcome anything.
Whether or not this is true remains to be seen.
Redbear
Mortality: Mortal
After being rescued from captivity, the cheerful Redbear becomes a loyal companion and great friend to Katya on her quest.
His knowledge of myth and the land play a crucial role in her journey along with his animalistic instincts. Sworn to protect his greatest friend, Redbear decides to see the adventure through and through. No matter what happens, no matter what it takes, he will be by her side, until the end and back... which may be exactly where she takes him.

Deadbear
Mortality: Class A Immortal
Deadbear is a former shell of what he once was. A body reanimated with no spirit, he lacks a sense of time or self. A poetical zombie, purposeless, he finds himself "living" out his days drinking himself blind as a means to escap his banal half-life in an epic displat of assertive yet ultimately inconsequential self destruction.
Unable to lay his body to rest, and unsure of what to do, his resolve has come to a virtual standstill...
Boneless:
Mortality: Lesser God
Boneless lacks any underlying structure. Because of this he is able to contort and disfigure his body at will as if it were made of gelatin.
He is more animalistic than intellectual, a predator who will somewhat midlessly hunt his prey. Though he should not be confused for a dumb beast, his razor sharp cunning could split that of a fox clean in half.
Boneless is unable to sleep unless his stomach is full of blood

The Noodle! is a spiritual oracle from an unknown place. Only Gonz, can call him and understand what he says.

Mortalily: Class A Immortal
Alexander was once a mortal. He gained immortality when he performed an act which captured Redbear's spirit in a painting (http://www.redbeardead.com/comptest/redbearpainting.jpg). With this newfound power, he was able to gain control of the miserable armiya. Unstoppable, he conquered and united the city states to give birth to the great Grey Empire.

General Constantine
Mortality: Class A Immortal
Also, once a mortal, Constantine traded his life to serve as the general of the undead army. In a soul-pact with Mother Winter, he became the immortal leader of the Miserable Armiya, sworn to serve the army's master.
