View Full Version : Your workflow, ZB to Max

So ok all those wonderfull details like skin pores, scars wrinkly wrinkles:).

You have found a way to go from ZB2 to Max7 with good res. I know vray gives a good result but most of us don't have it. How to use Mental Ray and displacement mapping is still a bit of a mystery and there seems to be little documentation on the subject.

If I export my mesh at level 3 even (with added geometry for the high detail areas), apply a fast sss shader to my head model and render out the model I get large wrinkles but not the beautifull detail that I am looking for.

What is your workflow regarding this conundrum? I have followed the African Head thread at ZBCentral and would have been delighted had I been a Maya user.

Got any suggestions I would love to hear them!
