This is just the first sketch to test out a design for "The Passionate Machine"
The details of my scene are yet to unfold, I'm going to do a bit more visual so that when I tell the story you can have pictures to go along with the words.
Cheers!
Edit: I've changed my angle on the design entirely...It's been quite a challenge to establish a robotic character, stylized for a renaissance-like era.
Cheers!

Here is an alternate machine design... the gold accents and red aren't exactly typical which is why I added them--straying from the normal cold emotionless machine.
More will progress soon.

Just refining the design of the machine--I want to maximize the humanity of the design, without sacrificing his robotic recognizability.

Further development of the machine, in the final pose. I took off the necklace because I'm not sure what symbol I want to use, but he will have one.
Hehe!
So some of you may now be able to guess where I'm going with this--or atleast have an idea. For those of you who know, you know this is only half the image...
More to come soon,
Cheers!
(p.s. Thanks to Michelangelo for helping with the image...)
