CGTalk - align components?

Has anybody a mel that help to align components on an axe?

Juste to avoid the anoying the approximativ scale zero on several vertices that you want to force to stay on the same line.

hi,
select all your points, exept the last one (in order to use the last one to snap to) select an axis on your manipulator, then use the v key ( for snap to point) and with the middle mouse button move your mouse near your reference point, all the point will be aligned on this point on the axis you previously choose. ( in maya 4.5, check if the option keep spacing is off in the move option box)
