If I save a preset of an operator, is there anyway to get that preset to open automatically when I activate the operator?

For instance: If I subdivide an edge, the connect button is unchecked when I bring the property page up. IS there a way that, when I bring activate the operator, connect will be automatically checked? Can this be done with the SDK?

Oh well, while I'm on the subject I might as well ask, how open is XSI's SDK? Is it as open as maya's? Not meaning to start a flame war or anything, just wanted to know.

Any help with the preset question would be greatly appreciated.

Never mind, I figured out a way to do it. I'm happy, becuase this will save alot of time!

All you do is Save a preset of Subdivide edge (or anyother operator) in the Operators folder. Then You simply rename the operator File SubdivideEdge1, and rename the preset Subdivide Edge (or whatever operator you are trying to modify!

You can edit slider ranges right-clicking on the tab and choosing "Edit" to edit the SPDL directly.

Cheers

I know, but the problem with editing the SPDL directly is I don't know where to go to edit the operator's startup settings. Does anyone know?
