They should work fine without updates... I know for a fact Brazil does anyway.

Chris is right I have them both they work fine! Most plug-ins for 4 work fine with 5.

Hmm wierd I downloaded the demo of VRAy and when max 5 was starting it gave me an error with that plugin...I'll try again by the way what's the difference between the DEmo and FREE version on the vray download site?
