View Full Version : How to render with no sky?

Hi All,

I'd like to just render my object in Messiah:Studio without including any sky. Everything other than the object should be transparent.

I've tried setting the environment to transparency 1 but the sky remains. Any pointers or removing the sky?

Thanks, Jon

Just turn it (background) off (red) in the surfaces tab.

That would make sense, but it isn't listed in the surfaces tab. I only have the camera, object (with child surfaces) and light master (with a few lights). Do I need to add it and then disable it? In which case how do I add it?

The Background and Environment surfaces are children of the camera. Just expand the camera (little plus sign) and turn them off. (Green to Red).
