The new Guinness advertisement has started showing on UK television, and its superb!

Another fine effort from Framestore CFC :thumbsup:

Just wanted to agree to the great ad and to join the crowd of Guiness drinkers. Though not here in Spain as you can only find it in over-priced irish bars.

those mudskipper things were very cool.

its also twice as much fun to watch when you use quicktime's "loop back and forth" playback option!

Very cool commercial, goes well with the soundtrack too. I guess that won't be playing in Canada anytime soon? :thumbsup:

brilliant!

Guinness is the only type of booze i drink [maybe some wine w/ dinner]. not that i was ever a drunk, but if a bar doesn't have Guinness, i'm not drinking.

nice ad, to bad i wont see it in the US.

The funny thing is, it can't be shown on US TV because it shows people drinking beer (commercials can't show people drinking beer, against FCC regulations)

I was wondering whats the budget and timeframe for creating the commercial. I can see lots of model and effect, just shown for a split second (which make it so cool).

If any of you are in the London, the making of this commercial will be one of the main things being shown and discussed at the Houdini 8 release meeting tonight in Framestore CFC's theatre (today).
