View Full Version : Aim At emulation in Expresso
designresponse 11-11-2002, 07:09 PM How is it possible to emulate the Aim At expression from Golem in Expresso? I have come up with a solution combining Expresso with a target expression but I would very much like to understand how to achieve the same thing just using Expresso. Thank you in advance for any light you might be able to shine on this problem,

Hi,
have a look at the Xpresso Pool. You should find an XGroup called Target.
It does the same as the target expression only in Xpresso. You can Choose View->Locked from the XGroups context menu to unlock it and then View->Extended to show its contents.
Hope this helps

:bounce: :applause: Once again thank you Srek, I got this to work fine you can even disable the pitch as on my example but this does leave me wondering why I did not have the Target X-group in the first place. Do you have a library of other X-groups and if so where did they come from I have searched my early bird discs and all the installed files but I can not find any other X-groups. I have version 8.001 of C4D XL bundle and I am running it on MAC OSX 10.21, I have noticed several inconsitances between my version and the versions described in previous threads, for example shift right click or double right click does not bring up any menu's on my interface, am I paranoid or are there later versions of the early bird out there that behave differently or have more resources like X-groups,
Peter
