View Full Version : Connecting separate subD surfaces...

Hi,

Sorry for the basic question, but I have created two subD surfaces that I'd like to combine/connect into one surface. I'd like to keep them as subD surfaces and not have to covert the surface to NURBS or anything like that. How do I do this?

Look if your surface has the same number of polygonal edges at the base mesh level (level 0).
If yes you can do Subdiv Surfaces -> Attach .

If your 2 objects have not the same number of edges, attach them and merge vertices one at one in poly proxy mode.
