A recent painting for the cover of Dungeon Magazine, issue #128. The subject matter was a lot of fun to play with. I approached this painting a little different than my usual run up. Nothing radical, but new for me. I did a full greyscale painting and then went in with the color. I enjoyed the change in my approach. I am definately going to have to try it again.

Yup Yup Yup, I agree with betito ;) Really like the gladiators' outfit. Great piece!

Awsom work! nicely textured and lovingly detailed.

1 small crit would be on the back ground, maybe add some perspective to give more depth.. all vertical lines being parallel at the moment is making the buildings look a little top heavy.

What else can one say but excellent , you have to be fond of sword and sandle scenes!

Love the action, drama and lighting you have used. My only crit is the path of the blood from the sword blow. It does not follow to where the angle of the sword is in the piece. Other than that it is excellant! :thumbsup::thumbsup:

Great hero character! But I am not pretty sure about orc/goblin pose and proportions. His shoulder looks a little bit small..... ;)

Thanks for kind words everyone. I think I have a little more work to do on this painting. Paizo continues to give me great assignments, pushing me to paint things I wouldn't have on my own. I will have more to post soon. Thanks again.
