CGTalk - Discovery Edition

My 12 year old nephew was hanging out this weekend and I introduced him to LW and he took to it quick. I remember LW use to give out the discovery edition to mess around with. Do they still do this? Anyone know how I could get ahold of a copy, Id like to give it to him.

Go to www.newtek.com and call them up, they will send you one :)

Hopefully they start offering downloaded demos...

Running any copy of lightwave without a dongle will put it into Discovery Mode. Just install 8 on his computer and it'll run fine.

Yea, just give him your copy of LW, install it, but dont insert the Dongle, and LW will run in Discovery Mode.
