View Full Version : Staircases in perspective (1point)

Hey all was wondering if anyone could shed some light on drawing staircases in 1point perspective and have them look as if they are receding into the distance. I remember something about inclines but hey i could be totally wrong. Are things like staircases on different vanishing points? well i attached and image to help see what i am trying to understand thinks for anyhelp or links to tutorials.

I think Hoon did a perspective tutorial on dA and it had stairs somewhere in it. Hope he doesn't mind me posting :p It's at http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/19043867/ ...very useful.

Loomis explains it pretty good in Successful Drawing. (LINK (http://www.saveloomis.org/successfuldrawing/62.htm)) I recommend checking out the whole section on "Perspective Every Artist Should Know".
