Kansai 10-03-2005, 06:25 PM Hey all was wondering if anyone could shed some light on drawing staircases in 1point perspective and have them look as if they are receding into the distance. I remember something about inclines but hey i could be totally wrong. Are things like staircases on different vanishing points? well i attached and image to help see what i am trying to understand thinks for anyhelp or links to tutorials.

Loomis explains it pretty good in Successful Drawing. (LINK (http://www.saveloomis.org/successfuldrawing/62.htm)) I recommend checking out the whole section on "Perspective Every Artist Should Know".
Good Luck.
