MsLeal 11-11-2002, 03:31 PM Hi,
when I use the hardware render for render one frame, it save the screen, same I putting other resolution in attributes, it resize the window for the screen size!!... then, I can't save a frame with the size that I choose!.... why?
If the monitor was very small, The user can't save a render frame in a big resolution?

if you check the button "full image resolution" you can render any hardware render size, since it splits up the image in chunks and assembles them after all chunks are done

I'm lost here. Are you saying that I can hardware render my particle animation out at the same size as my render - in this case 500x375pixels?
The resolution settings in my hardwareRenderGlobals dont give me the option. I have a bunch of settings (currently set to 1024x1024 but I want to render it out from my current camera
can anyone explain this better.

emmmm.. ja!
you can render out ANY size from the hardware render..
just alter the resolution. the settings from maya are only presets.. you can edit the values to whatever you like:
this is a maya preset in the resolution line frm the hardware renderer:
CCIR_PAL/Quantel_PAL 720 576 1.333
if you change it manually to:
CCIR_PAL/Quantel_PAL 500 375 1.333
it will render your resolution. quite easy and obvious :)

Thats weird. I were doing that earlier but it were having no effect!! closed maya, opened it again and it were fine!!
