This model I made very slowly, a piece now another one week later, so the final version is very different of the planned one. I find that it was Ok... heheh

Well the polycount is 4030 triangles without a weapon, soon I update.

any tip is welcome!

Hey, i like the cartoon style..... it looks neat.


The one thing that i notice right away is the fact that his knees are like one inch thick..... MAKE THEM BIGGER!!

Also, his whole body needs to be moved back to more evenly space his weight out..... instead of his body being right above his knees, make his body directly above his feet.

otherwise it looks good.

Even though you did a great job stylizing him, he should be more balanced.

Try making the legs look more like the arms in terms of size.

Great job on the props and meshflow!

I can't wait to this one textured.

HEHEHE this is sooo cool, i wouldnt change a bit. Maybe just check the face, i think u can optmize a bit the polycount.
The legs doesnt botters me, i think is the backpack what is making the character looks out of balance. Where is the concept my friend? Good to see you again

REAAALY good :)

I told you before, I really like the proportions... All of them.

The props are great. First time I see them. Really fit on the character.

Now, we just have to wait for textures and animations ;) I'm pretty sure it will get even better.

aye there, keep the proportions as they are, tiny knees like that make it so much easier to rig aswell. very similar to the characters out of Galleon, good game shame about the out of datedness.

nearly didnt look at it as i thought, it was "yet another soldier" will keep an eye on this one:thumbsup:

Hi people! Thank! For all! I go to try to make a cool texture, but at this moment I don't have time to dedicate in the texture or animation. Probably I go to delay pra to start, when to start I place here. ok! Thanks again!

I understand what you I want to say with relation to the knees, but this is intentional, for the soldier look more clumsy. The idea is of that the legs are weak for the weight of the superior part of the body, so the viewer have the sensention of balance lack.

I understand to what you mean, about the proportion of the legs, is the same motive I have say to the Utchamps, The lack balance provokes more rhythm when it will be in movement, at least he is that I wait! heheheh

In any case, I agree with you both if the intention was a more realistic soldier, but in this case the clumsy look on a typically serious figure it is the mood point.

Love your style mate! Only a couple suggestions, you can take them or leave them:

The Knees - I don't think they are too thin, but I think they are too long/tall - they just look slightly funny/stretched right now.

The Chin - I think it could look better if it was more square, instead of being kind of rounded like it is (from a top down view i mean)

Killer job otherwise, great work!
