View Full Version : 2.0c Release, Taron's setup and other questions.

Hi all. Hopefully some of you more experienced users (or perhaps even Taron) can answer some of these questions...


Was there every actually a version 2.0c released? I've looked and looked and can't find anything.
I can't find ANY documentation on the texture deform node (probably because I couldn't find 2.0c release notes). Is there some available and if not are there plans to add it in the next release?
Taron's bone setup is pretty cool but I don't understand it. How is it that the root bone's translation effects the head, but rotation doesn't? And the head bone's rotation effects the head, but its translation doesn't?

Itīs because the head bone isnīt a child of the root bone (nor a member of the root bones hierarchy), but itīs constrained (with a Move_to expression) to the tip of the skeleton_bone3 (which is the base of the 'put' helper bone).
When you rotate the root, it doesnīt affect the head bone, but the 'put' bone, and the 'put' bone affects the translation/position of the head bone (MoveTo Expression, also the reason why translation of the head bone doesnīt work), but not the rotation of the head bone.
