It's quite easy to set up network renderring. Just follow the instructions in the online help. The biggest tip I can give you is to run the manager as a service. I'm not sure about 5, but the manager was prone to crashing in 4. Running it as a service and setting it up to restart if it crashes is a very useful thing. It's all explained in the help files. Another helpful tip is to have a shared plugin path that all machines can access. This helps when adding all those freebie plugs cause you only have to store them in one spot instead of making sure each machine has all the ones you are using.
