i imagine that material could be built using procedurals and perhaps a bit of dusplacement. i tink ill have a stab at it. :)

I just ususlly photograph stuff in the store, hehe. Make sure you ask first, some stores don't like pictures being taken.

2nd hand stoes like Goodwill and Value Village and thrift stores are a texture goldmine. :D


Also, don't forget your own closet! And your moms! And your partners! (They'll think you're nuts, but they;ll get over it :D)

thank you all for the info,that is a good idea johny about buying the pillows andtakeing a photograph of the fabric,and then archeopterix idea about going to the stores and photograph is an excellent idea! i never though of that....i got a good digital cam.and macys is near my job can you imagine 5 floors?!!! wow.....just david,i tried makeing it by displacement and the result was not good......that was the first thing i itried,lol.....thank you all ofr your info.
