GabrielP 12-21-2001, 10:35 AM How can I select on the views in modeller without select the points or polys that are behind my selection ?
In max you have the option Ignore Backfacing while selecting elements. Is there a similar option while selecting here ?

In the view port you are using to select your points/faces in, set the object view type to sketch or wireframe shade or any of the "shade" types and you can avoid having your selection include the points/polys that are out of view.
Do you have a manual for Lightwave? If you don't have one (or your dog ate it ;>) you can download the pdf version of it from the Newtek site for free. It's a pretty good manual!

hope this helps you out and have fun with Lightwave!
