CGTalk - how to see links?

well is there any way to see for example stuff that are linked, and linked to what. like a whole mesh linked to one bone...

Trackview and Schematic view display hierarchies visually. The Selection Dialog has a show Subtree option that will arrange objects into hierarchies - most common method.
