Well, despite learning my artworks average a "2" I'm back again. hehe. And what a challenge, YAHOO!!! toons. :bounce:

And just when I'd got used to drawing my toon self, I cut my hair. My bangs have went from 10" to 1" so this will be interesting. My hobbie, gambling. :) I'll try and do several different pics of me at the casino. Here's me for now.

Hey Tommy, welcome back, and thank you.

Ok, so I don't really look so much like the first pic, but it that was without reference. Still haven't found a mirror small enough to bring to work, so the digital camera will have to do for now. The compilation below was made with photo ref's, as I'm trying to get accustom to my new look before I start on the final.

that's cool. It looks 3d. I mean it! Looks like you rotated the model. Very cool, all vector based? I'm assuming it was because of the "mesh" image before? Or was it freehand.

thx gamoron. it's vector based. All except the quick glow and color dodge done in photoshop.

Vector based: a computer drawing, not based on pixels. But on lines and curves, from one (anchor)point to another.
No resolution, so resizable without limits. A resolution is non excisting, till it gets printed (resolutioned by the printer itself) or pixeled (copy-pasted to photoshop, but than it's not vector anymore).
Like Illustrator, Coreldraw, Freehand, Flash etc.

btw, Nice start Slacker :)

Ok, I found some time at the last minute to finish this thing. It could use a little more atmosphere, but I'm pleased with letting it go and starting on something new. 100% Adobe Illustrator.
