I am trying to make a double fading txt. This may sound wierd. But let me exlain.
1st. I want the text to fade in over about 20 frames.
2nd. While doing that I want it to appear that it is fading in from the top down... kinda like a smokey effect.
So to sum up over the course of the 20 frame effect I want the opacity to increase on the entire effect but be more prominent from the top to bottom. If this makes no sense I am sorry i am doing the best I can to explain.
Another way of explaining it would be.....
Frames 1-4 the top of the txt fades in a little, then frames 5-11 the txt would all fade in a little so that you can just barley make out the txt, and also the fade from top to bottom would continue, then 12-20 the top to bottom fade would finish.
I have tried many different ideas. I have tried just doing a single frame in max importing to photoshop and try to do gradients. But the effect while achieveing what I want is to time consuming and not anti-aliased. And I dont get that much control over the effect other than hand tweaks.
Any help here would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
Tom
