I created this without any real idea in my head, so if you got any. Just spit it out!
Kinda looks like a reboot sub assembly,..
You could make a space vespa out of it or just animate some spokes/wheels comming out of the cylindrical part and try a simple story where it cruises along and discovers other parts, adding them to its body as it goes. Nice shaders and smooth surfaces.

some poor robot out there is missing it's hip joint assemby now :eek: heh.
seriously, though- it's really symmetrical... adding some dodads and such could fix that...

sorry, dodads probably don't translate very well...
dodads- silly little details, like antenna, bolts, lights, wires... pretty much any piece of geometry that you add that looks good, but probably doesn't really serve any other purpose...

Good idea, a little wiring would look OK.
One prob. This is the first model I make & intend to finish. Made some before but it was all crappy test-stuff.

Arm comming up + some lightning tweaking.
Pretty good for a beginner huh. If I may say so myself.
