anyways, been working with maya for only a semester very intensely. please critique my current work.

looking good for a start........but i wouldnt call it complete
more detail would be nice

Hey, not bad for 1 semester's worth of knowledge. . . I would add details, as juntao suggested.
Consider what this is a lobby for. . . Is it a doctor's office, a law firm, an appartment building? That will influence what goes in there.
Things to think about; desks, chairs, sofas, plants, light switches, electrical sockets, lights, phones, computers, rugs, etc. . . oh, and windows? (i know you have some of this already)
Also, as is, it's not very inviting to me, so depending on what you're going for, you may want to warm up your color scheme a bit, and add some natural light and other comforting factors. . .
Anyway, let me know what this is for, and I'll see what else I can think of.
