I just bought Vue 5 and I am attempting to create a locator that flies in from a large map image of N. America, through a cloud plane (used as a transition) to a high res SAT map that I can show the details of the specific area of our event. I am a Maya user and I am used to all the animation options of materials and placement nodes. I am trying to place a cloud directly in the path of my camera and animate it's properties to create a complete whiteout for my transition. I found the function editor and I can position the cloud in my path but i can't animate it. I know this is simple stuff but I can't find anything in the docs that explains how to set keyframes for this. I have tried setting material keyframes, I have also tried clicking on the animate texture tab in the material editor but that changes the whole look of the clouds. What am I missing?
