View Full Version : (Help)Infrequent pressure when using Zadd/Zsub
keeganb 09-30-2005, 12:33 PM Hi I was wondering if anyone could help me out. I've just started to use ZBrush and I'm finding it difficult to get constant pressure when I 'paint'. If I'm using the standard brush and Zadding then it acts as if its sputtering, part of the geo will raise and then as I continue in a line the pressure will cut out completely and then restart again leaving a dotted effect. At the moment I'm thinking it could be just that maybe my pc can't handle it but i was wondering if anyone can shed some light on the situation?
Thanks alot

Yes I use a wacom tablet but I get a lesser effect when using a mouse? Its like the tablet is really bad to use but the mouse isnt as bad.
Any help please?!
Maybe this will help.
Go to 'stroke' and adjust the 'mouse input average count' (Mouse Avg) from 1 to 3 or 4.
I have Zbrush for a month now and I'm giving advise LOL, hope this helps though.

'mouse input average count', no dude I tried this out and it doesnt seem to help, I even went to wacoms site and got the newest driver but I'm starting to think its just that my pc's a bit dated! I must try it out on my friends brand new PC and see what results I get there!
