this version was supposed to have a rubber tube instead of a pony tail, sorry, too tired now

I am probably going over the top but as the responce i got on a more game orientated site was condeming of the content i am going to be as carefull as i can...

So ...I apologise if this material is not concidered apropriate viewing but hope that as this is a professional board it will be concidered for its technical and artistic merits and would prefere that no discussion as to the nature of the material be discussed if not in the context of ART

You can see that there are many different variations, none of them finished. I would like to do one with a chrome effect almost all over like Sorayama robots but i think it will be difficult to get a good chrome effect in UT2k3, if anyone knows about how to do this well with shaders please let me know. Also any ideas what to do with the unfinished Gas mask, and how to best attach the spikes (these were only really meant for the chrome robot version).

I would also prefere the rubber to be PVC with lots of sharp highlights but didnt put them in because i am not sure how or if it would be better with a shader in game. Off course any other sugestions or criticisms would be great :).

Almost finally this seems to be one in a long run of UT models (3k triangles and following Unreal Tornament 2003 EgytianFemaleB model proportions [rated mature]) and was partially inspired by a member of this boards UT babe as it reminded me of Sorayama gynoids a little. Finally thanks to Fabool for helping me out on various bits some of which i am still working on.

looks great man...I actually like the nude version better....why did you catch crap about that....
every art student has to do nude figure studies, and the underlying body is the basic shape we have to start with when creating....

and its not like youre showing something we dont all have male or female...
and youre pic is not of a pornographic or explicit nature.....so why would it upset people?
guess some people are just too blind to see past the subject matter...I get that sometimes with my art...

it looks great..love it!!

I wouldn't worry about it. Somebody will always send you some flak for any kind of nudity.
Besides, you 're not the first one to create a nude game character.

Apart from that, your work looks solid and very well done. I wouldn't mind seeing that in a UT2003 game :)

I don't know about a naked babe in an S&M outfit, whip and all not being of explicit nature but hey, to each his own ;)

Anyway, I actually prefer the covered up one. Not because of the censoring but because it really looks painfull, lol! It has more character than her just being naked.

I'd make her braid hang down a bit more though, it looks a bit stiff.

I like it, it's a great character for a game with everybody running around and killing people. How could people say it's to graphic, when the whole object of Unreal Tournament is to kill people.

It always amazes me how they can show dead people after a shooting, or bombing on 6 o clock news, but if they showed a breast that would be way out of line.


Anywho- I like the model with the parts covered alot better, it gives her more of a mysterious look. I don't model video game models to often, but the left hand is that actually a closed fist, or a texture of a closed fist? I guess that was to save some polys. Yea. I agree with you also, that some specular on the pvc, or vinyl would make it look alot better. Looks good though.

Carnifex thanks for the support, i was getting a bit upset last night after having spent a long time on it then having it ridiculed, but hey you learn something new every day. I think it should be easy enough getting it ingame as it is rigged already, but to make the skins for U2k3 is such hard work with the large texture size.

Wiro I know what you mean, the non naked was done in a hurry but i think it is more interesting too. the pony tail was supposed to double as a rubber tube for the chrome and gas mask versions, so have you any ideas how i might keep it doubling up as both and stop it from looking so stumpy?

Ckerr812 yes i agree, my 2 year old has much more of a problem seeing a penguin being eaten by a shark on a nature documentry (let alone the 6 o clock news) than seeing scantily clad women dancing across a screen.
Yes its just a texture (with some UV stretching) to save polies as the other hand is about 250 - 300 tris (ouch). I can post flats if you are interested.

Update

still working on textures, its amazing that the engine can handle 2x1024, this is only using 1/8th of the available texture space

(the wrong head has been left on for this as i hadnt finished the one for this texture

messing around with reflection alpha maps that hopefully will be recreated in the U2k3 engine using their environmental mapping shader, any comments?

this is a really sweet model. love it :D
it's got all the bizarre elements that I love, and besides that, it's really well made. except maybe her collarbones, they're a bit to large, maybe if you lower them a bit it'll fit her better.

otherwise it's all :thumbsup:
keep it up :D and do one highres and with higher polycount. :D

Very cool indeed, hmm.. too bad ut2k3 is such a fast game... can't really enjoy all the hard work that has gone into creating those characters...

Hey tpe, you here as well =]

The character looks very cool in that last render, but please post a bigger version as well, it's hard to see any skin or model detail in that last render. I like the chrome shaders a lot.

Haven't seen this yet at polycount, although I can understand why you avoid posting it there. =S

Renszu, sure the game is fast, but why not just downlaod the model and look at it in a map without players in it. That's about the only thing I do with the game, and that's primairily testing my own model for it =]
