Is what compatible?

Is your hardware compatible? I'm not really sure, but you might like to clear up what you mean by

" Memory 1280 Mb (60ns)" and
" RAM 256 MB"

I was sure the TNT was a card that didn't go up to 256mg's of RAM...so what are you talking about wiht the two of them??

Anyways, i'm very unhelpful, but if you were more precise about that you wanted to know, would be much better :)

sorry if i was unclear.i was describing my system .I have 256 Mb RAM.I started having some problems with it couple of months ago(blue screen).i was asking about compatibility between motherboard and video card for example(that was the thing i had problems with).al i know is that the motherbard and the video card have different agp's,4 and 2 respectively, causing fluctuation in electric alimentation and i wanted to know if there is any other obvious (or not)problem with it.

and is there ay use of upgrading it or just buy a new computer and if so what would u recomend for a 500 dolars budget including only:motherboard, cpu, video card, ram?

Ahh, well, that video card shouldn't be a problem...If you enter your bios, you can set the AGP thing, and should be able to change it to suit your video card :) It's it's set to auto, it should do it..well, automatically, but might aswell be specific with it :)

If you're having any troubles with it now, describe the problem you're having, much easier to solve thigns this way. Are you still having BSoD's?

i'm not havig any blue screens now because i set the agp to suite the old video card.and that's ok now...still i have some odd reboots rarely when i have multiple programs running at the same time...i don't know..is that normal?anyway, thx 4 answering

well i could solve everything by buying a new one but i'm nt the kind that leaves something broken or not working properly

If your getting blue screens and restarts, it could very well be a simple driver/windows issue.

I recommend you download all the latest drivers for your motherboard, video card, soundcard and everything else necessary. And then reinstall windows and install the latest drivers, then do the usualy windows update and run a defrag just to get things running abit smoother.

Athlon 64 3400 - $200 (Socket 754)
K8V SE Deluxe - $75 (Socket 754)
Geforce 6600 GT 256mb - $150
512 PC3200 (400MHz) DDR Memory - $70
Seagate Serial ATA 120GB - $84
Mitsumi 54x32x54x - $30

Total : $609

Best that I could do without going down to Semprons, which aren't that much better than the Athlons.
