Hi all,

Im currently in my 4th week with Maya, and now Im trying to modell a male. all c&c welcome.
Got 2 years experience with 3dsmax. I havent really tried to make any good renders yet. Thought I'd might do that when Im done with him :)

In the end I want him to be a warrior of some kind, maybe a sort of conan look.

Oh, and by the way. I havent really started to define the legs yet. :) I started on this yesterday.

i only see 2 things wrong which were already mentioned, fix the heels, and make the point of the nose rounder

I know you have only just started on the legs but there seems to be something not quite right with thier proportion in my mind. I think they are little short.

Post a wire please. ;)

Great stuff. Could you please post a wire frame pic? Also I love the muscle anatomy, but the lower back looks kinda messy. Can't wait to see more.

I second the wireframe request! In addition to the other comments that have already been made: His pecs seem somewhat squarish to me, also there seems to be some odd lumps on the small of his back. Otherwise proportions are looking pretty good from what I can see. Great job on the ear.

along with the heels, the knee joints look a little odd and the head, (and this may be more of an asthetic thing), the head looks a little too wrinkled, it should look a little smoother.

Ill try to fix every c&c, unless I dissagree.. :P

I also noticed the back when I posted the pictures, ill see what I can do.

Hi,
nice model. There is something wrong with the feet, the back part (is it called toe?): way too big. my 2 €c

It's looking better! Do you have a refrence for the feet? maybe you should try stahlberg's foot tutorial at http://www.3d.sk/tutorials/Modeling_a_foot_in_Maya.htm

post close-ups of the feet please, we could help you out more
