This is the original conept sketch of the central figure of my piece.

I feel there are few things as spectacular, both visually and in terms of historical change, as war. Therefore, this piece is going to depict a great battle of the future, against foes beyond human.

This should be under "Concept Sketch" Milestone- I must have mistakenly chosen "Texturing" LOL.

This is the current front image planes for the alien beast. It is adjusted somewhat from the original concept, because the former image was a little *too* similar to the inspirational source. I also feel it adds a bit more alien feel for the head.

Originally, yes- a concept for a miniature I plan to sculpt as my Hive Tyrant. Like I said, it's far too close to the original inspiration to use here- I included that piece to show where this work is moving out from. The creatures I am depicting in my piece will have little resemblance, physiologically or socially, to the Tyranids other than certain overarching premises, such as biomorphic weapons, and biomechanical (meaning living) technology.

LOL.

Believe me, They're undergoing extensive...rehauls.
