Hi there,
jbo, I don't see why you blv this is not the right forum for this question?
Mystic, if you perform a search for HDRI threads you will find plenty of information.
As someone mentioned Splutterfish have a very nice tutorial at:
http://www.splutterfish.com/sf/contrib/tutorials/gabry_hdri_tut/_contents/index.html
and generally the principles of working with HDR images are described there, even if you don't use brazil.
A small tip, when you are done with the tutorial, remember to remove the "filtering" from "pyramidal" to "none" in the material editor, regarding the HDR map you will use for reflections. This is because you will get artifacts on your reflective objects.
You should leave it on at the map you will use for the skylight, since the light needs to be blurred and doesn't require so much information.
Hope that helps

I've got a Brazil-oriented HDRI tutorial on my site as well, if you are still looking for more info:

Tanks a lot You really help me guys.
Hdri is only good for metal or good inorganic shader, What if I use it for with a skin shader Like a Character it would be better to use only standard light, right?

HDRI for metalls results in nice reflections, but using hdri with diffuse materials gives also nice results, and better then nice... they are correct. The reason is that they present your cg model in a correct lighting situation - the situation that was captured while creating the LDR images for the hdri.
Often HDRI's are not used correctly or to the full power ibl offers.
