Climax is one of the world’s leading independent developers of award winning video games. We are seeking a 3D Graphics/ Rendering Programmer for to join our highly talented team to work on an impressive roster of recently signed projects.
This position is meant for the programmer who can design and implement 3D graphics engines and pipelines. The candidate will use existing technology and expand upon it to create game specific rendering engines.
Role Requirements
• 3-5 years experience writing Rendering code
• Strong C/C++ Skills
• Strong Assembly Programming Skills
• Strong 3D Math Skills
• Familiarity with Optimization techniques
• Familiarity with modern 3D techniques(Shaders, Lighting Models, Visibility, etc )
• Familiarity with 3D Modeling/Animation Software ( Maya, Max, etc )
• Console Development Experience
• Ability to write Maintainable and Extensible code
• Ability to work within a schedule
• Able to communicate well
• Passion for Programming
• Self Motivated
• Knowledge of Parallel programming paradigms is a plus
