I'm just getting started and this may be a stupid question, but I've been looking around the forum for an answer and didn't find it anywhere. I've tried to begin with boxmodeling, but got stuck on square 1!

I have drawn planes or splines but I can't see the actual bitmaps attached to the splines or planes on the different views, I know they are there cause i see the texture when i render it.

Probably some setting, but I have been looking all over.. got inspired
from this thread:

http://forums.cgsociety.org/showthread.php?t=156460&page=1&pp=15

and this is what it should look like:

I'll appreciate any help today, have to return the borrowed laptop to work tomorrow, want to get by this today so I can continue next weekend! :)

Best regards,
Yorugua

On the material editor, there should be an icon of a checkered white/blue box thing. Click that on, if it still shows nothing put a uv map modifier on your object. You could of just asked this questition in the max forum.:wise:
