nope, white spots on your render generally mean you havn't finished licensing your software. Have you got your auth. code back?

White spots can also mean that you have turned on the option to see your GI or caustic samples. I can't remember offhand where to look for that setting, but if you're quite certain your licensing is setup correctly, this would be the next thing to look for.

You may also want to contact Cebas tech support if you continue to have trouble;)

hey, i got these white spots as well! i thought it was something wrong with my computer!

i almost got rid of them if i render with depth of field and decent anti-aliasing. unfortunately cos of final render's accurate dof, this takes forever :( :(

LFShade - the GI sample spots are green, not white ;) the setting to turn it on or off is under finalrender Globals :)

yes, it is license problem, I had exactly the same pain...

how about this, i got a criss-cross pattern on one of my faces in a render, then i changed the lighting and the camera position and it disappered, but i never found out why...
