hey guys ,well after a few matte paintings, now I decided to paint some kind of monster-creature, I was inspired in crabs.lobsters. and roaches, I wanted this to be really scary or sometimes like the show mosters in movies, hard contrast, siluethes, a very dramatical , scary lighting, all painted in photoshop, hope u guys like it.

nice~~but seems too dark,and make me can not see much details about the monster......................but the light is pretty good~

I agree, its too dark to really see the creature (which is disappointing) but from a cinematic point of view, it gets points for being creepy. :twisted:

Good lighting, really makes the picture look like something out of a movie. I think not seeing all of the creature makes it more scary... as long as I get a good impression of the general shape a design can be more scary when I have to fill in the rest of it with my imagination :)

amazing work
i really like the atmosphere in it. the monster or whatever it is looks very nice.
maybe its too dar, or in the other hand maybe its not
since it works the way it is

i like every thig the wet skin the lighting very nice
i'm not sure about the eyes i think they looks a littelnot real

hey guys thanks for your comments, I actually wanted this high contrast look, not showing the details of the creature but creating that cinematic feeling,
