hehe.. yes I also thought I'd seen it before. But there's nothing wrong with copying somebody elses work - as long as you mention it.

It would not be a problem, if you could improve the picture. but this is a really, really poor copy of the original.

Hello,
First I apologize for not knowing that the original is a 3D render too. I got the reference from a classmate of mine in the same tutorial group. I do not have idea where the image came from and I assumed that it is taken from another interior photo from the web.
Here is the only reference I've got. (http://www.snecx.com/temp/1041103947_reference.jpg)
I apologize if this is considered a direct copy/imitation, I can remove it anytime from the gallery.
Regards,
Snecx.

No don't removed it. I think your pic is good based on the reference you got.
You should however kick your classmate in the butt :) He now ows you a beer or two

This is just a quick modelling and rendering assignment based on reference. It is my fault because I changed my reference picture last minute and I simply took one of my classmate's reference. My mistake.
I am still new in the 3D scene (3 months) therefore I do not know so much about what have been done before and I am still exploring. Props to zuliban for the great interior render which I thought is really a photo.
Sorry everyone.

hmm, dood! that original render image is currently my desktop picture.(I am doing architecture assignment as well). So I can easily recognize yours. At first, I thought It was you who did the original one! Man, you should left some credits for your work. Imitation is not a bad thing at all! :) Cheer up dood! and Good luck

Can you post a wireframe? And I would retitle this something like A Study in Tribute of Zuliban, maybe attempt to contact the orignal artist as well. Turned out nice, though.

Everything's cleared up. :)
I will be careful when looking at references next time (to make sure they're not CG!). LOL.
