View Full Version : How can I get the same effect?
Hi all.
I've just seen a tutorial from Gnomon, with an artist called Jannik Dusso.
When he blocks things in, he uses an "oily big brush", but how can I get the same effect as him? I think that PS brushes is not for skecthing, because they are very "hard".
Please help a noob:D

I think Sental was talking about a screenshot.
BTW you can feather the PS brushes, change their transparency, change their layer modes, download them from the internet or create new brushes by yourself.
I don't knw how to take scrrenshots of a video.
Where can I download brushes? Do you guys have some favourite places?

Try here. (http://www.google.de/search?hl=de&q=photoshop+brushes&btnG=Google-Suche&meta=)
You can also post a screenshot of your brush and write down on it what you don't like on that brush.
Thanks!
Actually I just want to achieve an oily soft brush. Primaer for blocking in things.

Sorry, I don't get it, I don't know what you mean with oily, but a soft brush can achieved by setting the feathering of the brush to an higher level, which is -I'm pretty sure- explained in the Help function. This is so damn basic, sit down and rtfm.
Okay
Never mind then.
But thanks for the help anyway:)
