Hi folks. My company Monkeystack (based in Adelaide, South Australia) has now been going for about a year and we decided to update our website and showreels. The website is still in progress and I'll update when it is up and running, but the showreels are ready to view.

There are two reels...one which is a little more corporate friendly and one that is a little more fun.

Both reels mostly contain work that is commercial and we were paid for but there are some sneak previews of future projects. Hopefully some of you guys may see that in amongst the boring logos and junk, there is still fun to be had if you try hard enough.

All work in the reel was created by Monkeystack, except for some stock bits and pieces that were supplied by clients.

Monkeystack is
Shane Bevin (me...spacebovine)
Troy Bellchambers
Justin Wight

Hope you enjoy the shows :green:

The reels are unfortunately only in xvid/divx format at the moment....I'll try and get some more versions up as I can. The final versions will be in some fancy Flash FLV format once we tame Studio8. I wish I could post the giant, glossy DVD versions...but it is only the 2005 reel...maybe in 2010.

These are not streaming....so right click save target as will be your best bet.

Corporate Friendly Reel (still full of weirdness and fun)approx 10mb

Fun Reel (still full of commercial jobs...which actually made money...short intro film first)approx 15mb

you've got some good stuff...

im sure your company will grow more as you move on...

good luck with everything!

quick tip on the 2nd version of your demo tho, i'd place that animation at the end part
rather than the start...

it was what i viewed first from the two and i almost closed it since i thought it was going to be like that all through out...

it's okey for an intro, but it would work better for an outro IMO...

Cheers...thanks for the advice. These reels are actually more for DVD delivery and I think the intro film idea probably works better in that context. It's funny...some people like the idea...some people don't.

Thanks for responding.
